Famous speeches are often associated with geographical locations. In the passage this address was delivered on the Mount of Olives. One of the disciples drew attention to the splendour of the temple but Christ informed them that the temple was to be destroyed. The disciples concluded that such a magnificent building would only be destroyed at the end of the world and wanted to know when it would happen and what signs would there be. Christ addressed all aspects of the question.
